Women of all ages, sizes, and races come together to raise awareness on how beauty is being misrepresented and misinterpreted today as an original poem is read in the background. These women redefine beauty by displaying their true, inner selves– without the commodities of makeup, trendy clothes and hair, which are the things that have taken over the true definition of “beautiful”. Because the dictionary definition of beauty is a combination of qualities meant to please the senses, but it has become focused to only one sense–what people first see. These women prove that beauty is much more than the makeup and the looks and remind the audience and each other that we are all beautiful.
