Breastfeeding and Parent Peer Group

What is a Breastfeeding and Parent Peer Group?

It is drop-in peer support group. Goals are to offer help and support to all families at any stage of their infants feeding journey, regardless of the age of the baby or child. Pregnant women and partners are welcome. You don’t need to have a problem to attend. Breastfeeding support available.

  • No appointment needed.
  • Facilitated by trained staff.
  • Help with variety of topics for infants and toddler feeding.
  • Meet others and share experiences in a group.
  • Access one-to-one help, should you need it.

Options:  Rotate meeting location around town. Snack and supply sharing is always welcome.  Weight checks are available with advanced notice.

A Registered Dietitian and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant will be available for your questions as you need. Bring your all your feeding and parenting questions! You will be able to visit with other breastfeeding friendly mothers in your community.
