Getting the Right Start – Breastfeeding Class
December 1, 2018 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm$75
Join us to learn about the 4th trimester of growth & feeding of your newborn by breast or bottle. All welcome daycare/caregivers, medical professionals, parents, employers, community members.
As with anything in life, its always a great idea to take advantage of any help you can get! Breastfeeding is a natural learned process, and the more help and support you can receive, the better equipped you’ll be to handle it. Whether you are a first time mom-to-be or have breastfeeding experience enjoy the current research, helpful information and supportive community of this 2 hour breastfeeding class. Learn about infant nutrition and breastfeeding from birth to 3 months old. Build a strong knowledgeable foundation to prepare for your newborn and breastfeeding experience.
Of course, you might need more help right after your baby is born. Even if you’ve taken a class and learned what a perfect latch is, that doesn’t mean actually doing it — and doing it right — it will be a breeze. It takes practice — and maybe even some hands-on instruction and experienced support!
FEE: $75 (includes mom and 1 support person). A limited number of Scholarships are Available, please call 907-220-9920 or email for more information.
