Nutrition Testing

Why guess when you can test?

Knowing your genetics can help you.....

Nutrigenomics the science to navigate the relationship between your genes your and health.

We’ve known for a long time that some people respond differently than others to certain foods. For example, individuals with lactose intolerance experience gastrointestinal discomfort after consuming certain dairy products, while other individuals can consume dairy with no problems. Nutrigenomics allows us to understand how our genes affect how we respond to the foods, beverages, and supplements we eat.
Nutrigenomix currently offers a variety of tests with new panels added as the science develops. The tests consist of a panel of 70 genetic markers related to several important aspects of your lifestyle, including body composition, nutrient metabolism, eating habits, cardiometabolic health, food intolerances, and physical activity. “Assessing GI health with the proper tools can help practitioners get to the root cause of chronic illness. The GI-MAP (Microbial Assay Plus) is unique in the field of comprehensive stool testing. It relies exclusively on quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technology to detect parasites, bacteria, fungi, and more, by targeting the specific DNA of the organisms tested.”

CLIENT STORIES - Mom was Right!

For the longest time, foods caused GI upset. This made meal times an unnecessary hurdle and affected my energy. After reviewing the results from both the Nutrigenomics and the GI-MAP DNA Stool test. I learned I have H Pylori (bacteria that causes low stomach acid and may lead to ulcers or cancer). My gut microbiome was also unbalanced. With the support and individualized food and supplement protocol and plan from Janai (aka mom), I felt like I had answers. It gave me quantitative data and provided explanations, which made my daily life and eating easier, and improved my health.
